3 July 2024, Hackensack, NJ - Due to the increased FBI presence in the area, the annual Eastview-Westview 4th of July parade and fireworks have been cancelled. Eastview residents have been advised by FBI officials not to panic. "We've seen this phenomenon before," said an agent who asked to speak anonymously, "and we see no reason why it won't resolve itself soon on its own."

This news brings cold comfort to members of the Eastview community who have not been able to contact family members inside the radius of impact since early June. One longtime resident, Charles Sumner, said, "We need answers. We can't keep waking up to an entire community cut off. My son's whole family has a farm over in Westview, been living there for over three years now because of the school system, and here we are, second time in less than two years, that I can't get in touch with him. They can call it unknown entities all they want. We know what it is. It's the government getting into people's heads."

While local government are hesitant to comment, the mayor of Eastview's office put out a statement yesterday insisting that the government did not cause the events in Westview and that the FBI is working with other agencies to solve the problem.

The annual Westview Fire Company Carnival. No one seems to notice that none of the usual rides or vendors have come to town. Instead, a new company -- the Nexus -- has taken over the parking lot behind the fire company. Try not to throw up on the Tilt-a-Whirl!
